Orange and Rose Bath Salts

Homemade self care products can be simple and nourishing at once. Made from just four ingredients, these orange and rose bath salts calm and soothe skin, moisturise whilst detoxing and relax and uplift with their fresh floral fragrance as they reduce inflammation, clear congestion and boost collagen production.

Castor Oil

Rich in fatty acids, castor oil is highly moisturising, anti inflammatory, antimicrobial, stimulates production of collagen and elastin, supports healing, evens skin tone and increases absorption of other ingredients.

Epsom Salt

Originally sourced from natural spas in Epsom and now created by combining magnesium and sulfate, Epsom salt is renowned for its detoxification and relaxation effects.

Rose Petals

Rose petals contain soothing anti inflammatory properties and moisturising and hydrating oils, are antioxidant rich, boost collagen production, heal blemishes and scarring and their fragrance calms, relaxes and uplifts.

Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Sweet orange essential oil is invigorating and uplifting, antiseptic, anti inflammatory, collagen boosting, anti ageing, moisturising and clears clogged pores.

Ingredients

• 2 g dried rose petals
• 2 tbsp castor oil
• 30 drops sweet orange essential oil
• 220 g Epsom salts

Method

Mix the castor oil and orange essential oil together well in a jar and stir in the salt and rose petals.

Add ⅓ to a bath under running water or a small handful to water in a basin for a foot soak.

Store in an airtight container and use within 2 weeks.

Citrus oils can cause photosensitivity so use these bath salts after and not before sun exposure.
