Traditionally a mixture of dried plants and natural scents, potpourri looks beautiful and releases a gentle and steady fragrance into the air. This lovely recipe is made of dried flowers and essential oils to create a refreshing and relaxing fragrance that looks wonderful.

Cedarwood Essential Oil

Cedarwood essential oil is used in aromatherapy to freshen and cleanse the air, ease tension, increase relaxation, enhance cognitive function, improve focus and aid sleep.

Lavender Essential Oil

Ingredients

• ½ tbsp ground dried lavender flowers
• ½ tbsp ground dried rose petals
• 5 g lavender flowers
• 5 g dried rose petals
• 10 g dried calendula flowers
• 15 drops cedarwood essential oil
• 15 drops lavender essential oil
• 15 drops lemon essential oil
• 15 drops rose geranium essential oil
• 15 drops rose essential oil

Method

In a bowl, add the calendula flowers and essential oils. Mix well and stir in the ground flowers. Add the lavender flowers and rose petals and stir gently.

Transfer to open containers and place around your space.

Stir to release more fragrance and top up with a fresh blend of essential oils to refresh.
