Return to Centre Meditation

This guided meditation can be used throughout the day to help you return to centre, ground in your truth and rest in the peace within you.

Record this meditation, slowly speaking the words below, pausing between sentences.

Allow yourself to hear them with all of your attention.

Alternatively, speak the words to yourself in front of a mirror and feel the loving intelligence within you awaken your wellbeing, clarity of mind and sense of wholeness.

Find a quiet place where you can block out the light.

Lie down.

Close your eyes.

Relax.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth, releasing all tension in your body.

Again, breathe in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth, feeling yourself becoming more relaxed.

One more time, breathe in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth, softening your neck, your shoulders, your torso, your back, your limbs, your hands and feet, your jaw, your mouth.

Let your mind clear of the thoughts you were focused on before you laid down.

You can return to them later.

Right now you are interested in what is before, beneath and beyond them.

In your mind, see yourself at the edge of a vast and still and beautiful lake.

It is twilight and the light around you is a soothing silver blue.

The water is safe and still and inviting.

Walk in to it up to your waist and lie back to float on its surface.

The water feels natural to you.

You are warm.

You are held.

You are supported.

Close your eyes as you float and tune in to the silence around you.

It is deep and restful and stills your being.

You are calm and peaceful.

The water soothes you.

It envelops you in its comfort.

You feel perfect.

Know that every time you need to, you can return to the comfort of peace and calm and silence and stillness that exist within you.

When you feel unclear, you can return to the clarity and love and health that are always available to you.

Here you are safe and whole and well.

Here you are untroubled, unaffected, undisturbed.

In your purest moments, you know the peace that exists at the core of your being.

At your very centre, you are calm and silent and still.

Here you feel a sense of oneness with life.

A sense that all is spiritually well.

As you float in stillness and silence and peace, notice that within you exists an innate confidence about life.

You know how best to live.

You know what choices to make.

You know how to process events.

You know how to trust in your inner wisdom.

You are the ease you are experiencing.

You are the soothing silence and the peace and the calm and the wholeness.

Enjoy this.

Relax into this.

Feel yourself totally at one with this.

Float a little longer, relaxing deeply, rested and restored by your time here.

When you are ready, slowly rise to standing and walk out of the water.

You are shimmering light.

This is the light of truth, of peace and wisdom, of soothing support, balance and certainty that you are, that are the centre of you.

Stay standing and close your eyes.

Your light is shining farther around you and through you.

The light of truth and health and love, available to support and balance and restore and guide you at all times.

Feel it harmonising you on every level.

Become aware of and moved by your dynamic truth.

Centre in the wisdom of your spiritual wellness.

Experience it within you as you come back to the room you are in.

Gently move your body.

Open your eyes.

Take a slow and deep breath in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth as a soft sigh.
